INTRODUCTION :
Pressure gauges which are installed on the pipeline, and carrying low pressure air or gas, often face failure due to sudden rise of pressure during start up or sudden rise of pressure, due to failure of auxiliary equipment, destroying/ destructing either complete pressure gauge or precision set range of the pressure gauge. AVCON has produced low cost Block & Bleed valve to protect pressure gauge from damaging.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE :
In normal operation, gas of air is isolated entering the pressure gauge. On pressing the push rod, gas enters pressure gauge showing the correct pressure. On releasing the pressure on push rod, inlet is blocked and gas trapped in the pressure gauge, is relieved to the atmosphere at slow rate.
The valve is constructed in Stainless Steel 304 material with all SS 304 parts, machined on high precision CNC machine. Available in either NPT/ BSP (F) end threaded connection. The valve can be installed on most of the low pressure gases and air pressures. The valve has been approved by M/s. Gujrat Gas Co. for use on Natural Gas and LPG line.
